Hi,

I am interested on ICP results of the most common brands, similar to the links bellow

https://reefhub.pl/test-of-marine-salts/

http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/top...tested-with-triton-and-various-methodologies/

And some questions. Are the barium values of the Red Sea salts so high around 80? Or it was only in the charge analyzed in the link above?

Any experience with Microbe Lift salts? I believe they are only sold in Europe by the german distributor. Are the tin values only so high in that particular charge?

Thanks!

Hi,

I found more ICP analysis in other threads

http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/s...&highlight=triton+red+sea+tropic+marin&page=6

It seems that various salt brands have elevated Barium content. No way to solve this issue, apparently values up to 150 could be acceptable and the Aluminium adsorvers remove barium.

Regarding the tin in Microbe Lift salts I got an answer from the manufacturer. They check all the charges with various mothods and claim it is OK.

Thanks
