Hello!

The results of my ATI ICP just came in:

https://lab.atiaquaristik.com/share/ce7a043bc6730ff19ea2

Recommendations:
  • Kalium supplement per day 22.62 ml for 9 days
  • Vanadium supplement per day 0.98 ml for 2 days
  • Mangan supplement per day 1.30 ml for 1 day
  • Iod supplement per day 0.40 ml for 3 days
  • Barium supplement per day 9.61 ml for 2 days
  • Calcium supplement per day 19.45 ml for 2 days
Should I dose / correct anything out of the recommendations apart from Iodine?

I know the nutrients are very high because of improper dosing of nopox/kno3/kh2po4 combo* (some SPS are dying badly & that's why I've sent in the test) - been doing 10% WC's every day since the samples were taken (exactly 7 days ago).

*I've started to do this because I didn't have proper coloration & PE, and thought that some algae is pulling something important out of the water faster than corals could get to. Then I've got dinos after a couple weeks of nopox dosing, which I then tried to correct by stopping nopox & dosing kno3/kh2po4, but I think as the tank ran out of the carbon source the whole bacteria population has died of, and the values just ran away in a matter of days.

Thank you!

Nopox is a carbon supplement that is very similar to other carbon dosing methods, such as vinegar, vodka.....

It should fuel the bacteria at the end of the nitrogen cycle in our systems. These bacteria reside in low oxygen areas, low flow like under deep sand beds and under rock.

The problem with carbon dosing is that it doesn't always work well depending on how a system is set up. May not be enough rock or sand depth is thin.

From the test, your N03 at 20 is okay, but your P04 is high at .3.

I would look into reducing it.

As far as the elements are concerned, if you can't test for them, I would worry about them. Your salt mix should provide all you need if your tank is lightly stocked with corals.
