ICP results are in need some guidance

Below are my ICP results from ICP-analysis.com... Pink are the items that are off.

1. Bromine came in high. what could be a source for this compound? I dont intentionally dose it.
2. Calcium is off the charts and a water change has been performed. My fault i overdosed by mistake
3. Alk is not on the chart but is reading at 7 DKH at the moment
4. Mg is low and has been corrected using Mg sulfate (epsum salt).


I have been seeing excess of algae in my +20 year system which is uncommon for me. May even have some Bryopsis but most is what apears to be GHA.

Any and all advice would be very appreciated!

Youve got the right idea. The Ca and Cl ion concentration will be diluted with water changes as will the Br. The Br is sometimes in higher levels in calcium chloride. This may also be from your accidental Ca overdose.
