So I've been having some issues with sps corals and acros to be specific (there's another very long thread dedicated to that). Also some general growth issues in my tank. I decided to get an icp test done, I got results today and findings are interesting. I need some help understanding what is and isn't an issue, what my potential root causes are and how to fix.

Please see attached and let me know if you can suggest any courses of action.

FYI, I'm aware of the high calcium issue and am lowering slowly.

Only metal parts in the water are various magnets for pumps and I have one hose clamp that's made from titanium.

Yes tank is new as of March and plumbed with hard pvc.

My one thought on the quantity of trace elements that are elevated is that I have been dosing esv two part since the tank has been up and was attempting to hold alkalinity in the 9-10 range. For whatever reason though the tank would just shed alkalinity like crazy and I ended up dosing almost 75 ml per day to keep it at those levels. I think a lot of it was precipitating out but that still left all the trace elements behind.

Do these products remove tin?

That's the open question that can only be answered by seeing how other folks have succeeded, and I do not recall what was working best.

The problem is there can be many different forms of tin, and so a simple chemistry assertion isn't possible.
