Icp results

So I got my first icp test done and the results came in. I just need some help understanding some of this, my tin looks quick high, my silicates are high cause I was dosing to get rid of Dino’s. Anything else look out of the ordinary? And what can I do to lower the tin plus what could be causing that? Thank you in advance

Maybe consider dosing a trace element mixture. Tin can probably be removed with cuprisorb. You could run that and then add a trace element mixture in afterwards to correct for the good things taken out.

IMO, salinity is low, potassium is low (partly for that reason) and magnesium is high.

I was dosing 1.26ml into 250ml of rodi water every day

Tin used to come in a few salt mixes. I probably still does. There were also some man-made biological media that raised tin.

If you want to raise a few of those numbers, then just add those things and not a all-in-one which can raise things that you don't need raised. Better yet, just get the salinity up and ignore the rest of it.

It must be my refractometer and calibration solution I bought off Amazon. Says it’s spot on at 1.025, which salinity tester would you reccomend? I have the Hanna but it’s always quite off even after calibration

You can make your own calibration fluid if you have a gram scale. You could also get a high quality floating hydrometer and use tank water in an outside container that is still.

I do not know if I would trust ICP over any of the things that you have. They are not always super accurate.
