I have gotten back my results and have presence of Chlorine at 20531 ppm is this mean my ROFILTER Carbons may need to be changed? I am curious why so high or is this high?

You’ll probably need to add clorimine blasters to your system . I run a RODI system with two clorimine blasters and a silicate canister on top of pre filter , two membranes , and two DI . It’s also important to circulate the make up water for at least 24 - 48 hours with a pump and possibly airstone to agitate the surface for proper gas exchange . Test your water for chlorimines before you use the water for your water change . I buy my equipment and refilled from Aquafx in winter park , Florida. Ask for jeromy and tell him the results of your water test . I like using them because they are very knowledgeable and don’t just sell you stuff to make a sale . Their pricing is in line with everyone else . You can look them up on line . Hope that helps .

Chlorine or Chloride?

Chloride is a normal part of seawater and about 20,000ppm is normal.

I didn’t think about the fact that they misreading the test . That could make more sense , good catch !! . The municipality where I live dumps chlorine to high levels once or twice a month but never that high . Usually can smell it when they do it . When they do I wait a week to make water .

That is my results
