Hi, I have a tank that has been having some issues. Attached is a ICP report and I *think* it looks ok with a few minor issues. Could someone please take a look at this and let me know what you think?

Thanks!

Your magnesium is fairly high compared to the benchmark values. What kind of issues are you having? I'm not aware of any major issues high magnesium would have.

STN on many of the sps, lps looking ragged. No pests that I can find. Alk and Ph stable. N03 15 / P04 .05 -.1, the whole thing is pretty dam odd. I have seen stn from high p04 but that was around .2 or so.

How stable are those values? Rapid changes will lead to STN in all corals. Does your salinity fluctuate?

I figured it wasn't too big of an issue, it was just higher than the benchmark values. Thanks for clarifying!

I would focus on known values for seawater, not their "benchmarks". They don't even say what the salintiy of those samples was.

I don't see anything in that report that is of concern. :)

Somewhat depressing. I was hoping that there was going to be something obvious on that ICP report. Guess Ill go recalibrate my probes and dig out my standards to check my test kits against. Or curl up into a fetal-esk ball a cry a little.
