After reading some of the threads Im not sure how much to trust these results but I thought I would ask anyways. My tank has mostly thrived except when it comes to Clams. Ive tried over 8 of them and they last months and then finally die. I was hoping an ICP test might shed some light. SPS, LPS, softies, fish are all great and grow.

This ICP test is a little vague and didnt give me much details on the results. Example copper at 0.01 PPM.

Thanks Randy! Mag was from my Fritz Pro salt, it was actually up to 1650 before so its slowly going down now that I stopped using Fritz. Calcium is on its way up, Acros have been consuming it a bit faster lately so I had to adjust my doser.

Potassium I have but dont dose, any suggestions on dosing it?
Iodine, should I dose? My Chaeto seems to always die but I also test at 0 for Nitrates with Red Sea.

Magnesium seems high, and calcium is a bit low. Potassium is a tad low.

In general, nothing greatly concerns me. :)

For that matter, the values given for chromium, cobalt, nickel, and several other trace elements should give serious alarm, if taken at face value don't you think Randy?

If they were accurate, some of those would be a concern. The fact that many trace elements in this test swing to negative values bigger in absolute value than those are positive leads me to have, as I said for other reasons in another thread, a lack of confidence in them.

Is Marinlab the same as icpanalysis or a different company? Whos the most trust in icp so far?
