Yesterday I purchased a blenny which I believed to be a midas blenny. It was black with a golden orange tail. When we got it into the bag it was completely black which I am guessing is due to stress. I had read that they can change colors quickly and a midas blenny can turn completely black when stressed. It is in QT now but I am wondering if the gold tail and dark front means its a bicolor or if a midas can show this as well.
Im hoping he will relax in the QT and I will see the color come back soon then I will get a picture. Thanks for the advice!
