ID! Acupora!

I just purchased this Acupora but I forgot the specific name. She's not fully out because I just put her in a couple of hours ago. You can see that white hairy stuff coming out of the Acupora but like I said she's not fully out. Here's a picture.

I believe its an Acropora millepora. People just call them millis for short The white "hairy" stuff are polyps

they seem to be the easiest of the acros to grow. besides birdsnest acros.

Coolest SPS coral because most SPS don't have movement like LPS do, that's why I find this Acupora so interesting

Yeah millis are pretty cool! Are you calling them acuporas as a joke or did someone tell you thats what they are called lol?

Not sure what kind of Milli you got but I see some red/purple in it.
do you have other SPS in your tank or is this the first kind?

In my experience def not the easiest acro to grow/ color looks like its got alot of potential good luck with it!!
I've had better luck with birdsnests stylos and stags then millis : )
They r my fav by far but I never had too much luck with them

It looks to be more like a Acropora prostrata than A. millepora. A. prostrata is very similar to A. millepora with the exception of the way the branches grow out. A. prostrata will have a cluster of long branches making a table, and A. millepora will be a table made of short stumpy branches. Both do well with the same care requirements.
