I got this green algae in my tank, unsure how to fix it and not sure what it is - looks like a green cyano form.

Is it thick stuff and pulls off in sheets? If so then I have the same thing and I don't know how to get rid of it ether. It has been attacking my Chalice's.

Try increasing flow in the area.. Looks like nutrients are settling in the area.. Also need to bring those nutrients down maybe lay off the frozen food and use pellets/flakes...

It's like a type of film of seaweed, i tried stirring up the sand to break it apart and i think it makes it worse. When the lights are off - it's not as bad, then as the light goes on, it slowly darkens at the surface of the sand. I don't feed frozen food, only dry flakes and pellets. I did lower my pumps to get more flow at the bottom of the tank, i hope it helps it out.

Is there any CUC member i can use to clean this, I have turbos but doesn't seem like to do the job.

Green cyano. Same solution as red cyano, syphon it out and increase flow...
