Hello I have this moss like purple algae growing on my life rock. It doesn't come off like the cyanobacteria I have in my other tank, that grows on the sand and other decor. Is this also cyanobacteria or is it something else? Also I think the dark spot is good algae? I've had this tank running for 2-3 months now

Look like cyano bacteria. To confirm, use a turkey baster and see if it dislodges
If so, siphon up and prepare to battle adding 1.5ml of liquid bacteria such as micro bacter 7 per 10 gallons daily for 5-7 days and 1ml of 3% peroxide per 10 gallons at night
Turn off white lights during this period and siphon as needed. Also empty skimmer cup daily

Wiill that be fine with my corals?

Cyano and Dino don’t play nice with coral
The plan I posted is safe
Well the problem is, is that I don't have a blue light for my corals yet. So I'm not sure I can keep the white light(s) off. Can you be more specific with the treatment, like what should I go get to treat this. Is there a specific brand of products?

Light is very supportive of it
