You can. I always do the water changes right before it's time to redose the meds. So you can do a water change every 48 hours right before adding the next dose.

I'm sad to say, this guy didn't make it. The thing is that I have no idea about what killed him, yesterday he was just fine and eating, and today after work I have found him dead.
