Sorry I'm very new to reefs and this forum. I have a dark green growth on my rock. Only had this setup for 2 months and growing. Recently I noticed a few dark drab green growths on my figi rock. It is hard. I checked because I thought it was a sponge. Any help would be great. 20191029_173716.jpg 20191030_184750.jpg

Welcome to R2R! Is it growing quickly? It does look like some kind of encrusting coral.

It is growing very quickly. I just noticed it
Added new rock 4 weeks ago the rock it is on has been in for 2 months though. It about 1 inch wide

Have a few smaller ones on the same rock. Should I be concerned? Also will it over take my live rock

looks much like encrustment possible from monti or other SPS

There is another user that has a similar growth I am trying to help ID for him.

I think his might be a bryozoan/ membranipora maybe? Yours probably isnt, but could be, I'm not terribly familiar with the animal, but I have seen them as LR hitchhikers before, they almost look like a sponge but are stony/hard.
Last pic is very magnified.
