ID assistance appreciated! Tube worm?

Was checking my tank under red light last night and noticed some kind of tube worm (?) on one of my softies.

It looked a bit like a feather duster at first, but zooming in on my camera I noticed it has a forked appearance.

I just want to know if it is something nasty - has already been through a dip so is obviously pretty tough!

Definitely not a scallop - if you zoom in you can see it has constructed a tube out of sand, and it retracts under light

(but thanks anyway!)

Very strange. Tube looks like the one built by Phyllochaetopterus, but the palps are very different.

Well, the very fact that they are called palps is hugely helpful to me as I didn't know.

Definitely from the family Sabellariidae - it looks like some kind of Honeycomb Worm to me, probably a Lygdamis sp.
