I know hes a goner. Came back from holiday to this. Hes basically all pale and covered with ash. Is this velvet or soemthing else?

If it's a white/goldish dusting, it's probably velvet.
Freshwater dip
then immediately into a bath for 90 minutes in an acriflavine product like Ruby Reef Rally
then into either a tank dosed with CP or Copper. Copper like Copper Power already dosed up to 1.00 ppm
