Long time reefer here. Just saw these 2 critters on my glass and have never seen them before. Hoping they are harmless and was just wondering if anyone could give some insight if you have seen them before. Thanks in advance

I've had those species before they can easily come and go. Unlike the red species of flatworms these are safe I believe. Never had issues with them.Probably had something eat them over time. :p

I’ve had the same ones for about 2 years now... they seem to love euphyllia. I dip my colonies every couple weeks to keep it down, I haven’t noticed any major issues but I am considering using flatworm exit... have just heard some scary stories about it so I’m holding off for now

From a quick Google search I am seeing mostly that they do not eat coral, issues arise if they smother tissue. Thank you all very much for the responses I will keep them in check like everything. Everything has been thriving in this current system as an aside, just got that usual scare when I spotted these.

Hey there - just wanted to follow-up on how things are going with these euphylia preferring flatworms for you? Yours appear to be of the Waminoa genus, I suspect.

I have these in my coral QT tank and considering removing and dipping all corals, and doing a 100% water change and bleach of the QT to eradicate them/eggs for good before transfer to the DT.
