Trying to get n ID for these 2 frags to better research then as far as placement.

The one on the right looks like a Milli on some sort. the one on the left is at the tip of my tongue, maybe a haystack acro, not sure on the name.

Yes its 100%a millie not sure which one, and I agree a haystack
 
I have found that my milli's like a ton of flow, but not directly on them, but so does all my SPS, LOL!!!. Placement just depends on your light/PAR. They like par no lower than 250 IME.
 
Pac-Man and needle in a haystack are are the same corals (at least mine are) Which is what I believe you have there. They do well most anywhere but I’ve had the best luck down low. Medium light moderate flow. The higher the flow, the more dense the branches grow. Very fast grower but a PITA to frag. The like to blow into 1000 bits when you cut them.
