Thanks for the info! Just out of precaution I took it out last night before I lost sight of it.This is a bubble snail. Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. They are capable of "stinging" humans, therefore live ones should be handled carefully or not at all. Please be careful and maybe try to remove it if you can. They are reef safe though so it should be fine

These actually aren't Conus species snails - Cone Snails - these are Haminoeid Bubble Snails.This is a bubble snail. Like all species within the genus Conus, these snails are predatory and venomous. I was thinking Bulla occidentalis.These actually aren't Conus species snails - Cone Snails - these are Haminoeid Bubble Snails.
These are not venomous, and they're generally good CUC.

I forgot those were from a different superfamily - for anyone wondering, regardless of the exact species of bubble snail in this case, these would be good CUC.I was thinking Bulla occidentalis.
