There is also this above it... I believe this below is a fan worm? Harmless?

Do you think you could grab a couple more pictures of the worm? Is its head on the lowest half, like was he travelling downward?

I can grab a few more tonight when I get home...
I haven't seen it move so I'm not sure if it's a tube or worm or what. It ends behind one of the lower zoas

That actually explains some lines.... it's a Serpula.

I took a picture of the same spot last night with my phone and this is what it looks like now... could that snail eaten the zoas and other thing in less than a day but also the snail was on the other side of the zoas when I saw him in the morning. Or could that tube thing be something else causing an issue?

Also I have these on a rock near the bottom of my tank

No, there's nothing to dip for. It's all cool.

That snail is CRAZY! I had to get rid of mine because I couldn't keep it fed. Before him, I had a zoa pred tank with nudis, spiders and sundials. That tank chugged along nicely for almost a year until the Epitonium came in on food for the others. I thought it was great to add a new critter to my new tank, until I saw him mow down everything in no time.
