Just picked up these frags from a frag show, but I've never seen these before, are these vemintide snails? And what are these red dots?

I don’t believe the white spots are vermetid snails, I believe they are harmless. The red spots are more concerning but I haven’t had them so don’t know off the top of my head. Here is a website that I bookmarked so I can look up hitchhikers.

+1. The white dots are harmless, filter-feeding spirorbid worms. Not sure about the larger tubes on the coral skeleton though since they’re so heavy coated in algae.
@tstor do you also have any images of the red dots underwater/more closeups of the green tubes?

Do you have any pics of them in water? Sometimes it’s easier to identify things (like the red dots) if they’re in the water.

That said, from what I can see, the white spirals are spirorbid worms (harmless filter feeders- some people find them annoying if they end up reproducing too fast in the tank, but, as I understand it, you can usually just scrape them off if you want to remove some). The tubes jutting out in the last two pics are a bit hard to make out with the deep, green coating on them, but if they have a spiral at the base, then they may be vermetid snails - if there’s no spiral at the base, but there’s a little trail leading from it, then I’d guess feather dusters (harmless) - if there’s no spiral or trail, then I’d guess Coral Boring Spionid Worm tubes (not dangerous to you coral, but ugly and can grow to plague proportions like in the thread linked below). I feel like I should know what the red dots are (I’m pretty sure I’ve seen dots just like this before somewhere, but I can’t remember where), but I don’t right off hand.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I think the tubes might just be baby heads? I looked up pictures of branching hammers and they look similar.

I have more pictures under white lights, but it's still hard to tell
