ID help! Is this coralline or an imposter?

This stuff is hard but more vibrant red than the other coralline I’ve seen. What is it?

Does it rub off easily? It looks hard, so my guess would be some red encrusting algae, like Peyssonnelia, that is not Coralline. This stuff is harmless and provides a nice contrast to Coralline in my opinion.

I have similar on some of my frags to. Not coralline but does add nice contrast although you really only see it at lights out when corals go to sleep.

I have this too! And coralline takes awhile I got so excited when I saw red stuff growing well it was cyano and it wasn’t coralline lol. But I have coralline now.
