So I have a zoa not doing good so I decided to do a seachem reef dip. I was waiting and I saw this on it and changed gears and did a RO water dip and move the zoa around and two came off. Got the best picture I can of the critter. Is this what I think it is? Thanks

I don't think that's a nudi. Google zoa eating nudibranch as I can't see your picture clearly. Zoa eating nudies usually have some color in them, not clear like that, as they take some of the color of the polyps they are eating.

I think its a pod of some type.

Just googled it and it doesn’t look like it so it must be a pod then

Yeah. Pods come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Nudis are hard to mistake, and they are not translucent like that. If you googled it and its not it, 99.9 percent sure that is a pod of some type.

Most nudibranch will look like a slug, pods have lots of legs

I’ll let you know tonight after work how they look. They been in the tank since July but two heads started to fall apart like something eating it.

By any chance, do you have a lot of amphipods? They normally only eat stressed coral (and can quickly turn a stressed coral into a none coral), but will sometimes go after perfectly healthy zoas.

This is the first time seeing them in my frag tank.
