I found this guy crawling up the front of my glass a few minutes ago. Any positive ID on this? I wasn't sure what it was, or if it was reef safe, so I pulled it out and took a video as well. It looks like some type of nudibranch?

any nudi's that you didnt introduce yourself, i'd throw out immediately. If you introduced any montis or zoas lately, give them a good dip to see if there are any more hiding on or between the corals.

Thanks Jaysan, I always dip new coral, but will pull the zoas and monti cap again I have for another bath in revive.

I don't believe dips will kill the eggs. So I would look for egg swirls and try to manually remove them. Then dip the zoas again in a week or so when any eggs would have hatched. Below is a picture of what the eggs look like.

So is the consensus that this is a predatory nudibranch of some sort? If so, I will dispose it from the container I am holding it in. Thanks everyone!
