picked up a few new additions this weekend but can’t remember the name of this one? Thanks!

I don't know what it is, but what is that on the bottom of your tank? It looks similar to a cooking sheet that my wife has.

Hope not! :) It is a Ziss hang on box that I put coral into in my QT. It has stainless steel mesh panels that love algae!! Like a magnet but comes right off if you touch it..

Those are yellow palys be careful handling them, I think those are the ones that have a lot of palytoxin that stuff is dangerous.

Thank you for the ID! And you are correct that they do contain Palytoxin, glad I wore gloves!

Yellow Polyps. They are a colonial Anemone.

They can be very fast growers so I would isolate them if possible. They are very pretty though. Some are more brown than others. I had some bright yellow ones when I first started reefing.

Parazoanthus gracilis (formerly known as Parazoanthus sp. A). often called yellow polyps. Like all other members of the order Zoantharia they contain palytoxin but in varying degrees. From what I know this species has a lower concentration than the infamously toxic palys like P. grandis and P. mutuki, but as always still exercise caution when fragging.
