comes back on glass pretty fast ? In sand bed also.

Is it green or brown?
Does it dissapear at night and come back during lights on?
Is its hair like or slimy?
What's your system parameters?
No3
Po4
Ph
Salinity

Looks more green on the glass, no it will build up and stay unless I scrape it off no hair looks like powder more slimy I would say then hair. 1.025, ph 8.3. Alk 10.5
No3 1.0 ppm po4 is .10

Yea Thankyou that’s what it is. Update since I put new chemipure it seems to be taking care of the problem. Should be all gone within a couple of days as the glass isn’t building up nearly as fast and looks much cleaner.

Green film,...... can be dislodged with turkey baster and siphoned. Add more or direct flow towards sandbed and add carbon/ gfo to a reactor

Best way of fighting green algae is starving it out.
Blowing it around the tank without treating what's fueling it might spread it more.
If you want to clean it make sure you take it out of the water column when you blow it up. So turn off power heada so you can take it out with mesh or something.
If you reduce po4 no3 it will die off. Then your snails and urchins should take care of the rest...that's what I would do...
