I could be wrong. Def take a few more picsIt doesn’t look like my others. I would have never guessed that...
maybe, it will open up more tomorrow. I could have sworn it would be the in the Euphyllia (probably, not spelled right) family. I almost always guess wrong... lol...thx![]()

I did think, that was a possibility...hmmm... it might open up more tomorrow. They can look so different at home and I did the coral dip.hard to be sure with it retracted but looks like it might be a Galaxea. hopfully someone better at id chimes in. if it opens up it should be much easier to id.
Agreed on this being a Galaxea.hard to be sure with it retracted but looks like it might be a Galaxea. hopfully someone better at id chimes in. if it opens up it should be much easier to id.
You aren’t far off, Galaxeas are in the same family (Euphyllidae) as Euphyllias. It doesn’t look like my others. I would have never guessed that...

I hope everyone’s right... I would love a Galaxea! I got up and, and went to look... I was scared it was a GSP... please... don’t be a GSP... anything but a GSP! I’ll upload a picture. It looked completely different at the store. I did a water change yesterday and my water parameters are good... but, it doesn’t look like it did at the in the store. Maybe, getting settled/adjusting? Needless to say, store didn’t have a clue... they practically gave it to me (it was newly shipped/anything that’s in the store is destroyed/bleached in a few weeks.) They know it, they don’t have an aquatics person. You aren’t far off, Galaxeas are in the same family (Euphyllidae) as Euphyllias.
