+1 pineapple sponges. Although not the most attractive little creatures, they are harmless and actually benefit your tank as they are natural water filters . I've always had a few in my sump but sometimes it seems like I have hundreds in my protein skimmer. I don't actually see them in my DT so either something is eating them or like many sponges , they shy away from bright light.
