Looks like a branching Hydnophora. Can be tough to keep.

Mostly it seems sensitive during shipping and acclimation. I haven't had a ton of chances to experiment, but if you wanted to take him home I think I'd only do it in a system that had a fair amount of NO3 and PO4 dissolved in the water (esp. PO4).

I'd also like to place him using a light meter (lux or PAR) so I could be sure he wasn't getting drastically different light than at the LFS.
 
Looks like Hydnophora grandis, and it's having a hard time, there's tissue necrosis. How well did you acclimate before introducing it? Also how long have you had it?

Haven't had very long. Did look much better when I got it.
