I have a tang who has been acting normal and eating well. Last night I noticed he had some spots on the tips of his pectoral fin. After some effort I was able to get a few pictures and they appear to be dark in color. I was wondering if this would be black ich. Thanks

I have not noticed any spots on him outside of the bits on the edge of the fins. This was a late in the day discovery but after a few hours of observation what I had hoped as being bits of sand stuck on the fins never fell off. I'll continue observation through the week and pull it and treat if indications of spread occur. Thanks for the response.

My CBB currently has the same black spots on his pectoral fins as well. I'm gonna start some antibiotics in his food next week to see if it helps. Just wondering if you figured the issue out?
