It’s bryopsis algae and one of the harder ones to fight. The idea is to pull what you can by hand and then remove the roots with a dental pick or small crochet needle. If you don’t remove the roots, it will keep coming back

After clean up, add the following to maintain control:
Astrea snails
Ninja star snails
Chiton snails
pitho crab
Female emerald crabs
pencil urchin
fluconasal at times addresses this but rarely gets it all. Remove/scrub roots off and it’s done
