Nice pieces I never could pull the green myself... Actually thinking I never had a real red planet not sure... Every time I had it, it was white or pink..

You had/have it too high Lee. Mine is all red/pink/white now. Under the base it is green where there isn't as much light.

not sure if this counts yet but I just got it a couple of weeks ago and am happy to have it. Can't wait till it gets as big and colorful as the ones I see in this thread..

Here are some of my Red Planet pics of frags I have traded/sold. This is an interesting coral as the colors will vary depending on the light intensity. Those closer to the light will be mostly red and those further away will have the beautiful green base with red polyps.:

I've kept it too high in the tank (midway under T5HO) so it's lost some of it's green. I've been slowly moving it lower, and it's slowly regaining the green.

Nice pictures. I have noticed that as well. I have mine higher up and it is pretty much solid red.
