does someone know what this fish is? Someone gave it to me. The blue and yellow one.

The top picture has a yellow tail damsel above him that we have had for 3-7months. The second is him next to a full grown yellow tang. I didn’t think a damsel could get that big so that’s why I was wondering. Thank you guys very much!!!

If you ever go diving, you’ll see some good sized damsels that will attack you. They’re very territorial and get pretty big. Just like the wrasses in our hobby, they’re pretty small but when I go diving, I see some pretty big ones.

Same for angelfish. They’re so tiny in the fish store. Go diving and you see em bigger than dinner plates :)

That’s cool. I have only been snorkeling 1 time and I loved it. Diving is next lol

what are my options now that I know what I have? The black and gold chromis is being mean to my new vlamingii tang. My tang now has ich and the only way to get the chromis out is to tear my tank apart and I don’t want to stress out the vlamingii anymore then I have to. Any suggestions?

Try feeding with the net hanging in the tank. You’ll be able to get your fish accustomed to the net and learn not to be afraid of it. After a few feedings, the damsel shouldn’t be afraid of it. Then feed the damsel and while it is close to the net, scoop it up
