ID needed

Hey guys,
I am noticing these on my glass and didn't know what they were. At first I thought it was a snail egg but it is round and hard.

+1 - spirorbid worms.

They're filter-feeders, and harmless - though annoying if they're growing on your front glass . . .

Have these too. Are they good? Does anything eat them?

They're ... neutral.

They provide little active benefit, but filter-feed and do no harm, except for blocking the view sometimes.

I'm given to understand that leopard wrasses may eat them.

Thanks. I guess anything that filters in an 8 gallon is beneficial.
