This colony showed up in our office tank and is spreading. Any help would be appreciated! Xenia sp. maybe?

I dont think so. Clove Polyps.
Google blue clove polyps or japanese clove polyps. as you can see they spread pretty quick.
Blue cloves seem worse as they can send babies across a tank.

Thanks. It has been spreading very slowly over the course of 2 years, but it's spreading nonetheless.

then your probably doing good then . An LFS in Los angeles I know Had the blues and they spread FAST. weeks and months, not years:eek:

We got 5 inches down here in Santa Cruz near the bay, but the mountains took the brunt. Mudslides, road closures, flash floods and accidents galore. Either way, so good to get rain!!!!

Yea San diego here. Were being spared. You cant tell though, most think its the Oobleck or zombie apocalypse
