Hi Everyone

Any ideas on this? Nudibranch of some sort? Reef safe or not?
Thanks

Sure looks like a nudibranch to me. I have no idea what kind or if it’s reef safe. Hopefully someone will. If nobody knows, I would assume NOT reef safe.

It’s awesome. Did it come from some new liverock or something?

It looks a type of jorunna, normally sponge eaters I’d just leave it alone and observe

Actually, I can't see any of the feathery gills you'd typically find on a Jorunna nudibranch on this guy (though they do share some resemblance). It looks more to me like a Dermatobranchus spp. which are known for eating octocorals (softies, gorgonians, etc.).

ID'ing them down to the species is a bit of tedious process for me (and sometimes I can't get a confirmed species), but here are two recent links from people with similar (if not the same species) nudibranchs (tentatively ID'ed as Dermatobranchus fortunatus, though I'm not sure the rhinophores are right for it) that were alleged to be GSP eaters.
Personally, I'd say sump it with some GSP and sponges and see if you can confirm the genus/get it eating, but that's just me.

Yeah looks very similar to what came in on my gsp the other month.
Thread shared above.
Some good info in the thread .
Got told some kind of Dermatobranchus Albus sea slug
Seen quite a few these threads lately since I first found mine.
I pulled about 25-30 off in first 2 weeks since first spotted mine on gsp ,then about 4-6 weeks and couldn't see any, then only last week found another 2 one day and 3 the next day,but bot found any in last 5 days.
Good thing about these are they quite large and can see with naked eye and just remove with tweezers
