I noticed three new things in my tank last night. All of the pictures were taken through a magnifying glass, so may be blurry.

One I am very confident is baby peppermint shrimp. They're extremely tiny, but have the tail and little legs.

Another is a few clusters of bright white circles. I'm thinking they may be snail eggs. There are maybe 5 different clusters, but all in a path. There is one cluster that is all bumpy, that may be something different (unknown.jpg).

Lastly, I believe I saw a couple of flatworms. I'm not sure if we can positively ID. My tank is fallow right now due to velvet, so any solution would need to be an invert or invert-safe chemical (FOWLR).

The last pic looks like flat worms. The other pics aren't clear. If you see a lot of them, it can be an issue. You can siphon what you can out if there aren't that many.

The first picture looks like a Mysid shrimp. (harmless) Those little white circles your seeing are Nerite snail eggs and the last one is definitely a flatworm of some sort. You might want to get yourself some air line tubing and start siphoning these out one by one. GL.

I did not know about mysid shrimp. I just assumed the two peppermint shrimp reproduced. I think taking the fish out has just allowed the mysids to have a large enough number to be seen. They seem to be in varying stages and sizes, but the largest is about 3mm long. Is this about as big as they'll get?

The flatworms I'm just going to keep an eye on for now. I've only seen 2 so far yesterday, can't find them today.
