ID on black algae please

That's very weird. Does it blow off. Is it difficult to scrape off and have the texture of old wet gum?

I see tubipora musica frag close behind, pipe organs are 99% wild caught and 99% of the time come with entangled sponges which I think that stuff is but that's a total guess.

Looks like black cyanbacteria to me, but if it does not blow off other ID's will have to be considered.

Interesting. I've never had a black cyano. Def some very dark cyanos.
