ID on hammer coral?

Vermetid snail. These are sessile snails that build tube-like shells. In reef aquaria, they are often seen as pests as they can spread rapidly and produce mucus nets that can irritate corals. You can try to glue them shut or crush the base of the shell (not the end of the tube) with tweezers.

I'm not an expert on coral, but the bump looks like new hammer growth from a quick Google search.
