ID on something growing on sps tips (microscope)

had an issue with my newer system and the sps getting what im assuming is some kind of diatoms taking over the tips. its a darker color and more fuzzy looking. seems to like growing on the sps in higher flow over the ones in lower flow as well. thanks

Looks like a diatom to me.

1.) Source water? RO/DI water? Tap?
2.) How old is the tank?
3.) What lights are you running?
4.) What is your water parameters?
5.) Dosing anything?
6.) Dip corals?
