First time posting, so hope the pic came out. This is my skimmer collection cup. Noticed 3 of these worms in it wiggling around (I'm sure there are more). They are approx. 1/4" in size, small amount of black on both ends and brown in center.

Tank stats:
180 gallon Dual RR
40 gallon Sump
Gravity ATO
Approx. 200 lbs cooked dry rock (cooked for 6 months)
Currently no fish due to ich wiping out all my fish cept 2 firefish that have now been copper treated in a separate 40 gallon QT and awaiting the tank to finish its 8 weeks of fallow time. 7/31/17 is end of waiting period.
4 cleaner shrimp
1 fire shrimp
1 peppermint shrimp
CUC consists of Blue leg hermits, nazz., cerith, trochus, astrea snails.
Multiple LPS corals

Any help is greatly appreciated. If more info is needed let me know!! Thanks for ur time and any advice!

Can you get the worms in a clear container and get a better pic from the top and maybe we can see them to get a ID?

;)

Ok, try this pic. It's a few of them inside of a red solo cup. I did make a discovery when I pulled the worms out. There was a dead mosquito floating in the collection cup and 2 very small alive mosquitos. I'm now thinking this is possibly mosquito larva? I clean out the collection cup once a week due to not having any fish in the tank. So I think it's possible it laid eggs and I have larva? I have not seen any of these in the DT or the sump. Let me know what you think! Thanks again!

Although there are "salt marsh" mosquitoes, there aren't any insects that I know of which can survive in full saltwater, so I'd guess that mosquito larvae are out.

They do look like they might be some kind of anellid worm, but beyond that . . . Most of them are either good or harmless, but a few can grow to become genuine nightmare fuel. These ... don't look like that to me.
