It has a violet/blue hue to it. I think it's some kind of acro but picked it up cheap from a local reefer that wasn't really sure either. Thanks

Oh it's an Acropora, but too small/underdeveloped for me to make any kind of guess.
 
I just saw Acropora vermiculata- UC “Super Blue†Aussie Vermiculata discussed by Unique Corals. I think it's that just in need of rehabilitation. Hopefully I can get it colored up.
 
There are a lot of Acropora that could start off looking like this. A. vermiculata could be one out of 50 that get those rosette style radial corallites. If it ends up growing like a stag or dense bush then it's not A. vermiculata. It's going to need time to grow out some more before it can be narrowed down.
