ID Please 40x and 100x pictures

Id anything in the picture please. I'm mosted interested in the worm like creature. They seem to be all over and they are microscopic. All of these pics were taken at 40x or 100x magnification. The sample was taken from the top of my sand bed.

Nematode. They are super tough, and can live almost anywhere.

Cool thanks for the information @taricha. I've been looking at the critters living in my tank lately and its interesting to learn whatbis actualy living at the microscopic level.
