On the way home, are these tubes harmful? They poke in and out but don’t fan out and look like those fuzzy black caterpillars. Also I’m guessing this is some type of sponge? 59711856-B8E7-4288-87F1-98FFB9C56110.png BB258880-7F7E-4990-AC9A-9971786002BC.jpeg 07DC9FE6-B918-4B06-AA47-0FA6DAF00BC9.png

Can you circle the part your concerned about?

Yes, those are harmless fan worms. The make tubes that adheres sand in your case. The filter feed and sometimes they multiply and spread but I've never heard of them becoming a plague/problem.

Remove frag from tank into a container of tank water and scrape/pry off with a paring knife. Rinse and return to tank

Definitely a anemone that’s black. Not sure what those divots/holes are. See if you can ply off the anemone using a credit card and sliding it up under its foot. Put a power head pointing on also. If it dislodges get in another container so you can examine it.

Really? Can anemones have skeletons though??

Where do you see skeleton? Take a few more pics, also under blues if you got filters to see how it glows

The lines of white are hard, kind of like euphyllia. I’m almost home so I’ll take pics of them under the lights and post more pics
