ID PLEASE!!! CYANO??

this stuff has been growing all over my rocks recently. I dont think its cyano because they're growing as little fuzzy red balls on the rock. CUC suggestions?

Looks like cotton candy algae, possibly. What are your parameters and how old is your tank.

Hmmm....little red fuzz balls doesn't sound good. Cotton candy algae is difficult to remove.A uchrin might eat it.Emphasis on the might.

So I've had this stuff growing in my refugium for awhile and thought it looked cool but it's growing kinda fast and I'm not sure If it's beneficial or not?

I suggest hermit crabs. I dunno if they'll solve your problems, but I still suggest hermit crabs. xD
