Hey guys I need an id on these guys, I have recently found I have an infestation of them in my Chaeto. Some are larger than others but the largest I have found is around half inch. They all appear to have red on both ends. As far as I can tell I do not have any in my display, thanks in advance!

if they are in the chaeto they are also in your display
I’ve never seen any in there, they do a good job hiding. It’s disappointing thinking I was pest free knowing now I’m not. I plan to toss all the chaeto and start new with some from algae barn, any suggestions on how to eliminate rest of them. Fish species or invert, it’s a 90g display, 40g sump.

Most wrasses will eat them, but they are a beneficial part of your ecosystem. No need to get rid of them or the chaeto. Your next round of chaeto will more then likely end up with them in it too.
Ok, just making sure these are not the fireworm species and standard bristleworm? Also would wrasses keep them from getting to large, don’t want a foot long worm living in my tanks..lol? Been looking at a 6 line anyways to add.

Naa its just a baby bristle.

Six line will eat them, and keep them from getting too large(they prefer the large ones IMO). Although you might want to make sure you research a six line, they are well known for being !@#^&%!%^& !
Will do and thanks for the the heads up, not really started researching which wrasses I’d like to introduce but if they are aggressive I will probably mark them off the list. Not looking for any aggression.

Leopards are great hunters too, but can be very finicky when it comes to eating. They prefer pods, and the only reason they are labeled as an expert only fish. IMO

If you can find one thats eating other things besides pods, they are a very hardy fish. IME
