I think it’s a bobbit worm but I’m not sure. He’s tiny

Oh yeah definitely not bobbit worm. Should’ve done a little research. So if it’s just a normal bristle worm he should be good to go back in DT right?

How many feelers does it have on its head, image isn't very clear. Is there one in the middle with an overall uneven number? Or an even number?
I can’t really tell. Either four on each corner or four on each corner with one in the middle.

If theres one in the middle then it's probably an eunicid worm, maybe Leodice sp. Probably carnivorous and not good.
I think Ima just toss it. Too small to make proper ID and I’d much rather be safe then have one extra bristled worm in my system. I already know I have others that are actually bristle worms

It’s a Eunice AKA Bobbit
Remove and eliminate asap

Im glad I caught him so early. Just pure luck after a water change I was stirring up the sand bed to even it out a little and he came up.
Yes you are
Would be a future nightmare

When in doubt about a pest, feed it to the toilet. It's hard to say its a mix between bristle and bobbit so do what I said earlier.

It is not a "bobbit" worm strictly speaking, but a close relative. They are native across the world. Bobbit worm is the name of one particularly nasty species out of many.

The Leodice spp. I mentioned do exist in Florida
