ID please! I assume aiptasia?

Hello, my tank has recently finished cycling and I have a single green chromis who's been in the tank for a week. I just noticed a small patch of white/purple area covering a piece of liverock that has started sprouting. The polyps tips are glowing under the blacklight and it just went from one to two in one night. I assume aiptasia but havent seen one that looks like this or that glows

It's hard to tell what color they actually are, but it looks more like Green Star Polyps or xenia.

Looks like you got some green star polyps as a hitchhiker on your live rock. It is a coral not a pest anemone, but it will spread very quickly and can take over parts or all of your rock in time. Some like it while others avoid it. If it were my tank I would remove it rather than likely battling it further down the road.

Thanks guys, should I just confine it for now? It's on a small piece of rock I can easily seperate it and see if I like it

It will be fine if it is on a rock to itself and you keep it away from the others.

Looks like aiptasia to from pic. I would get it gone if it was me before it multiplies.

google green star polyps, that purple base will grow and spread be careful it will engulf whatever is around it this is the wat the rock looked like 6 months ago, an as of this morning, sorry for the crappy night photo, but jus showing u how it can spread an wat it looks like
