have these in sump, any ideas what they are please... good or bad ? They are soft to touch and on thin threads. Thank you

yes, cant find anything on the internet, my LFS thought some type of snail but ive looked at snail eggs and cant find anything that looks similar

Can you get few more photos Please?
And what's the place you found them? It can be type of sponge, or can be tunicate I think (some are colonial like this)

will get some pics tomorrow, the only place I can see them are attached to my return pipes.

The rings make me think of tunicates too, a whole bunch of them have ribcage looking features like that.

Is that picture in air or under water? More pictures would help yeah.

Wish I could find the other post.. recently another member posted photos identical to these in his sump. Not sure if they were ever identified though

thank you, been on holiday just got back. the picture was taken in air. your correct with the "rib effect" will post some more pics when I can.
