We are talking about the greenish thing, yes? Not the brown blob?

The greenish thing looks like the head of a bobbit worm to me. That's not good if it is.

better safe then sorry...if your worried about it getting away just take it out

I was talking about the whole thing. The blob and the thing on it. Ikinda thought it was all 1 thing lol. I will get it out. Id still like to know what it is though. there are no holes in the rock its on so if it were the head of a bobbit worm, im not sire where its body would be? Unless its a baby and its under the blob? Urgh I dont know! Ill get ot out but still curiw. If theres one, theres probably more that I dont see.

It's hard to tell from that picture. There's a hitchhiker ID thread. Post this in there.

I'm stumped and in usually pretty good at Ids
It look like a thing on a thing. How did it move?
If it makes you feel better it can be the only one in your tank. If it's a nudibrank or flatworm or slug. Good or bad. Very often they don't have to correct food sources available too them, food including algaes and bacteria grown only on specific corals or the corals in those areas.

Well when I went to get it out it was gone! Now I REALLY wish I had went ahead amd removed it. I kept an eye on it and it was there one minute, and the next time I looked at my tank about an hour later, it was nowhere to be seen! I looked everywhere I could see. It was in my coral banded shrimps den, and he is pretty territorial, so it is possible that the shrimp took care of him for me lol. Im still hoping it shows itself again so I can examine. I was a fool not to before! next time its goin in a Tupperware bowl for a photoshoot lol!

I forgot to answer your question. How did it move? It just let its antenna like things sway in the current. It didnt do any moving until I wasnt looking.
